Pest Management Tired of pests and the excuse that you have to live and work with them. EMMS is your answer.
In keeping with our Environmental and Sustainabilty goal EMMS has adopted the Integrated pest management (IPM) approach to Pest Control. This is a proven cost-effective strategy to combat pest problems without unnecessary pesticide use. This is done by correcting the conditions that lead to pest problems and using approved pesticides only when necessary. Hence, IPM provides more effective pest control while reducing pesticide use.
Spray-intensive pest control approaches may make pests go away, but all too often they return. IPM emphasizes long-term, preventive strategies to combat pests. Actions such as improving sanitation practices, installing door sweeps to keep out mice or insects, and fixing leaking plumbing to remove access to water can all reduce the number of pests and prevent pests from coming back.
Knowledgeable professionals will thoroughly inspect your property and carefully monitor for pests. The successful management of pests requires an understanding of the target pest ecology and habits.
Our goal as your professional pest manager is to undertake a program of Integrated Pest Management aiming at the source of the problem rather than the symptoms.
Integrated Pest Management relies on the combined use of physical, cultural, biological and/or chemical control of pests.
